Programme Highlights

The Hong Kong Shipyard Limited, a subsidiary of Hong Kong Ferry (Holdings) Co Ltd, is located at North Tsing Yi with a total site area of about 20,000 square meters.  With over 60 years of experience in marine engineering, company is specialized in engineering and maintenance for various type of vessels including pleasure crafts and mega yachts ranging from 40 ft. to 200 ft. of European and Taiwanese brands such as Azimut, Fairline, Versil Craft, Sunseeker, Meridian, Vitech and mega sailing yachts.  Shipyard is able to provide all engineering, mechanical, air-conditioning, carpentry, painting and all sorts of service on mega yachts.  Every year, approximately 20 pleasure crafts (including 160 feet mega yachts) and 100 other vessels utilize the service for their annual maintenance such as routine check on generators, electronic or navigating equipment, repainting of hull…etc.

The visit includes a brief introduction to Hong Kong Ferry Group and Hong Kong Shipyard.  A walk-around tour to shipyard including yard, workshop and control room, etc., all on ground floor.  Transportation will be provided to and from the venue at Tsing Yi MTR Station

Remark: Ensure safety during shipyard tour, all participants are kindly requested to wear on safety caps as provided by shipyard; and they're also suggested to wear on trousers and safety shoes.
