The HKIE Logistics and Transport Division is organizing an essay competition on the topic
How the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhu Hai-Macao Bridge affects Hong Kong from Logistics and Transportation perspectives to encourage LT young engineers and students to stretch themselves intellectually and practically in the application of Logistics and Transportation Engineering technologies in a real industrial case.

 

We welcome submissions from young HKIE engineers under the age of 35 (by February 28, 2017) or full time students of accredited Logistics and Transportation Engineering Degree Programs in Hong Kong.

Paper submissions should be no longer than 3000 words (not counting tables and figures), of font-size point 11, Times New Roman, line spacing 1.5, and may contain a maximum of 15 figures or tables. The short-listed papers will be invited for 20-minute presentations in front of a judging panel for final prize selection.

All submissions will be subject to plagiarism checking.  

 

This competition is free-of-charge and no prior registration is required.

Prizes:

A total of two prizes will be awarded:

Winner – a scholarship of $3,000 plus a Winner Certificate

1st runner up – a scholarship of $2,000 plus a 1st Runner-up Certificate
