Programme Highlights

The Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD) not only plays a regulatory role and also act as an air navigation service provider and provides air traffic control services to all aircraft operating in and out of Hong Kong International Airport and within the Hong Kong Flight Information Region (FIR).  This visit will include an introduction of CAD and a guided tour to the CAD Education Path.  First part is presentation on the Advanced Air Traffic Control System and other CAD HQs facilities.  Second part is to visit the Aviation Education Path, which is a highlight of the CAD Headquarters to introduce Hong Kong’s aviation history, air traffic control operations, aviation security, flight safety and aircraft accident investigation.
