Wine Experience Sharing with Wine Columnist

This wine and spirits experience sharing event with the am730 Wine Columnist, Ir Thomas Tam, was held on 20 October 2018 with a total of 15 participants.  In this experience sharing, the participants were free to ask any questions regarding wine and spirits.  Some of the frequently asked questions were about the French and Italian wine.  Ir Tam provided lots of wine tips on how to choose wine, and shared whisky knowledge, such as distillation and aging.  In this event, bottles of red and white wine were shared among the participants.  Ir Tam explained in details the system approach for assessing wine quality, such as the aroma and the palate intensity level.  He demonstrated how to detect the tannin and the acidity level of the wine, and gave a practical exercise on evaluating the wine.  This event had lots of fun and greatly enhanced the participants’ knowledge on wine, and the participants all enjoyed it a lot!
