Mr. Hillman Duan has more than ten years working experience with SEALAND Service Inc. (once, global leader of container shipping company headquartered in Charlotte, NC, USA). He held various senior position from terminal operations to Branch office Manager. He has also worked for 8 years in CMACGM group (presently, one of global leader in maritime head office based in Marseille, France) as Senior Commercial Manager to Deputy General Manager, South China Region.

 

Most recently, he is with CIMC IT (wholly subsidiary of CIMC) and serves as the Director of Global Sales and Commercial.  Hillman has a Master Degree in Economics

 

Programme highlight

 

Contemporary global logistics faces challenge in their shipment management business life cycle. CIMC based on most advanced IOT technology, such as Global positioning based on Satellite 3G/4G network technology, IOT sensors, local communication technology BLE, LORA, NBIOT and Super battery/capacitor etc. developed a smart global tracking system which help logistics management to monitor their assets such as containers real time all over the world so as to optimize the business throughput. In this seminar, they will share with Hong Kong engineers its experience and its solution. This technology can also be applied in cold chain logistics and airfreight.
