Free Trade Zones and Zhuhai Terminals

With the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) being built, marking the completion of the world's longest sea-crossing bridge between HK and China, a technical one-day Zhuhai exchange has been organized on 22 November 2018, focusing on the visits in the Boundary Crossing Facilities of Hong Kong and Zhuhai located in the artificial island in HZMB as well as the Free Trade Zone and container terminals in Zhuhai. The event is jointly organized by Hong Kong Sea Transport and Logistics Association, Hong Kong Shippers’ Council and The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, supported by Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Hong Kong Institute of Engineers Logistics and Transportation Division. A group of 40 people with representatives from overseas delegates, industry practitioners, academic scholars and government officials have met the Zhuhai delegates and exchange views in the transport and logistics development in Hong Kong and Zhuhai during the visit and dinner.
