With more than 25 years of experience in the information technology industry, Argon Ho is the VP of Sales for Strategic Customers in SAP, leading the strategy and sales team to serve the conglomerate multi-national enterprise customers. Prior joining SAP, Argon was the General Manager of Cisco HK & Macau. He joined Cisco in 1998 and has held various leadership positions in different areas. Before joining Cisco, Argon has worked in Nortel and Newbridge.
Other than daily business, Argon is also dedicated to contributing his expertise and experience in the community. He is the Expert Advisor for LSCM since 2017, the Council Member of VTC Innovation and Technology Training Board, Council Member of Hong Kong Computer Society, and the Executive Council of IBDG, Institute of Big Data Governance.

On 27 May 2019 evening, Mr. Argon Ho, Vice President Sales, Strategic Customers of SAP Hong Kong Company Limited, shared the latest resource management technology applied in product design, manufacturing and delivery in this technical seminar.
Resource management technology aims to achieve better resource utilization and improve process monitoring efficiency during the entire products life cycle. Argon introduced the concept of digital twin and its application in process and discrete products’ manufacturing as well as associated logistics management. A management system equipped with Internet Of Things devices installed in materials/products can capture their status and send back to the control tower of the management system. With the real time status of materials/products available, appropriate reactions can be triggered for improving the performance without delay. As a result, resource utilization and efficiency can be improved.
The seminar attracted over 40 members and everybody learnt a lot about how the latest technology could improve the process efficiency.
