E-commerce logistics is the natural trend of business development in the future. The strategic position of Hong Kong and our easy access to the World is advocating being a leading centre of world’s e-commerce business, and hence the operations excellence has to be our competitive power, particularly in the order fulfillment processes.

Empower is a 3PL service provider specialising in e-Commerce with a warehouse capacity of 80,000 cbm. Dealing with 300,000 orders on a daily basis, it has deployed 15 robots in the first stage and turnkey logistics systems including Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Artificial intelligence (AI).  Empower has a service centre in Yuen Long, adopting the most contemporary automation technology. One demonstration is their adopting of Geek+ AGV robots in the Goods-to-Person order picking and replenishment processes, and also being the first in Hong Kong to fully launch such new approach in Hong Kong.

As an e-commerce company, it needs to handle lots of orders and some orders even require delivery on the same day. Geek+ system can analyze data and to carry those fast-moving products closer to the work station to improve logistics efficiency. Besides, the racks can be arranged closely to save (say, 30% of the) aisle space as a high density warehouse. The superior and reliable performance of the robots and system will be showcased during the visit.  You can interact with them and experience about Geek+ system on site.
